Talk to Us Live is committed to raising awareness about the importance of immediate access to accurate medical advice and counselling for the general public. It aims to bring the provision of healthcare services into the 21st Century by using the latest information technology available on the phone and through the internet.

For the first time, people can connect straight through to a doctor at a time that suits them, with none of the usual barriers. Now callers can get straight through to a UK registered doctor or qualified counsellor, without having to negotiate their way past receptionists, secretaries or nurses. Clients can choose to use instant messaging, audio and/or webcam functions as the system is completely flexible.

Our online doctors

All doctors at Talk to Us Live are individually interviewed and are fully qualified, UK based doctors, who are Criminal Records Bureau checked and registered with the General Medical Council (GMC). All doctors on our site have provided us with proof of their qualifications, insurance cover and proof of membership of the General Medical Council. This reassures us that the profile that each doctor displays is accurate to the best of our knowledge.

Our online counsellors

When choosing a counsellor it can be reassuring to know that they are bound by professional standards and ethics. All counsellors at Talk to Us Live are registered members of the Bristish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and are either accredited or hold advanced diplomas in counselling. All counsellors on our site have provided us with proof of their qualifications and insurance cover and proof of membership of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. This reassures us that the profile that each counsellor displays is accurate to the best of our knowledge.

As an Organisational Member of the Bristish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) we are bound by its Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and subject to the Professional Conduct Procedure for the time being in force.
